I'm coming with a friend to Salzburg in August for the Strum Graz game. Where would be the best place to sit? Ideally we would like to not be right in amongst the ultras but close enough for a bit of atmosphere. I was wondering if we are likely to have any trouble at the game being English or whether the Bulls fans are quite welcoming.

Also, I need to catch a train at 21.20 but understand the game kicks off at 18:30? Will I be able to get to the station in time after the game and what is the best way to do this?

Looking very forward to coming to Austria! faehnchen.gif

Hi!

First I appreciate your interest in our club! Really cool! smile.gif
I think the best place for you in the arena would be at the east side (Ost), because here you have a very comfortable place to follow the game and the atmospere is also good.
Normally the fans in Salzburg are very friendly to people from abroad. So you haven't to be worry about the people in Salzburg.

I don't know exactly about the train, because first it's not sure, if the game takes place at this day and second I don't know about the train times in Salzburg exactly.
I would recommend you the website oebb.at to look for the times.

It's very easy to go from the stadium to the train station. There are some buses, which take the people to the train station after the game. Fortunately the ticket of the game is also legal for the bus, so it's very comfortable.

Finally I hope you would enjoy your trip to Salzburg. It's a very beautiful city and you will also see a very good game in the arena! smile.gif

Thanks for the quick reply. Some really useful information there.

I'm staying in Munich so that's where I have to get the train back to but sure I'll figure something out. I can check dates closer to the game.

Thanks once again and hope to be there in August.

Come on Salzburg!!

Concerning fixtures:
The game will probably be on Sunday, 22nd August, at 16:00 or 18:30, because Sturm Graz faces their opponent in Europa-League Play-off Round on Thursday, 19th August, if they beat Dinamo Tbilisi next week.

Yeah baby. We have fans in the UK? Hope you are not feeling too lonely there, but if so come back to the board any time. I'd also recommend the eastern side of the stadium, our fans are on the south side. Take a seat on the gallery if you like to have a great overview of the game, or on the lower rank if you want to be close to players and fans. Also the lower rank is a bit cheaper.
