The eagerly awaited UEFA Champions League qualifier between Red Bull Salzburg and Shakhtar Donetsk will see close to 30,000 fans heading towards the Bulls Arena on Wednesday.
This is to be an important test of the transport system and stadium access ahead of next summer’s European Championship finals.
Fans are therefore asked to travel early to the match to ensure a free traffic flow. Admission to the stadium will commence at 6:30pm.
It is important to remember that ÖBB are to run their match day special offer again, with match tickets also being valid as train tickets covering the whole Salzburg region! Should the bus be more convenient, you can use your match ticket to travel free with the Salzburg AG StadtBus, anywhere on their network, up to three hours before kick-off.
For fans that need to travel by car, we recommend using the free car parks P1 at the Messezentrum or P4 at the Siezenheim Autobahn junction. There will be a free shuttle bus running between these car parks, the Airportcenter and the Bulls Arena from 6pm.
