adidas EUROPASS set for Bulls Arena debut.

Official match ball of UEFA EURO 2008 to be used during
Red Bull Juniors Salzburg v FC Carinthia and
Red Bull Salzburg v SV Josko Fenster Ried.        

During the draw for the group stages of UEFA EURO 2008 in Lucerne, adidas and UEFA presented the official match ball of the Austrian and Swiss football fest, the adidas EUROPASS.

The ball’s new surface structure allows players to control and master the ball in all weather conditions.

This is all thanks to the PSC-Texture™, a sophisticated, highly smooth structure on the ball’s outer surface that guarantees maximum adhesion between ball and boot.

The name EUROPASS on the one hand symbolises the figurative ‘pass’ that the host countries will create in the name of football to allow fans to make the trip to Switzerland or Austria. On the other hand it also stands for every pass that a footballer will make on the pitch during the European championship.

The EUROPASS is going to get a double slice of the action at the Bulls Arena this week: today (Tuesday) as the Young Bulls host FC Carinthia and then on Friday as Red Bull Salzburg play SV Josko Fenster Ried.
