The Red Bulls landed back in Salzburg safely and on schedule yesterday afternoon.
This Monday their penultimate week of training is to start ahead of the eagerly awaited restart to the league against champions Rapid Vienna.
Co Adriaanse will be doing his all to fully prepare his team at Red Bull Salzburg’s training centre and stadium for the huge clash.
Two training sessions are scheduled for both Monday and Tuesday on Taxham’s under soil-heated natural pitch.
Another friendly match also remains to be played:
The Austrian and Croatian league leaders are to face each other on Saturday 14 February at 2:30 pm at the Red Bull Arena.
Champions Dynamo Zagreb will provide a stern test for the Red Bulls.
Andreas Ulmer, the Bulls’ newest signing, returns from Huelva in full fitness and with maximum motivation.
The left-back, who will wear number 17 for Salzburg, summed up his first training camp for his new club:
Andreas Ulmer: “I really loved it in Spain – I have been accepted into the squad very well and feel really settled already. The time in Huelva was really important.
The training exercises were extremely interesting with some new ones and cool things to try.
Technique and physical fitness were part of the programme – I think we are well on track with two weeks to go until the league resumes.
I got on well with my room mate Ernst Öbster – we’re on the same wavelength and had some great banter.”
