A summer treat for all football fans is in store this July!
FC Bayern Munich will come to visit the Red Bulls on Friday 10 July 2009 in a dress rehearsal ahead of the start of the 2009/2010 season.
Janko will therefore take on Rensing, Sekagya will be tested by Schweinsteiger and Zickler will attempt to outdo Lucio.
The biggest club in Germany will come to the Red Bull Arena for the first time since 13 February 2007 when Bayern Munich won the Bulls Cup after a penalty shoot out with Salzburg.
Bayern have indicated that they will be bringing their full star-studded squad to Austria this time.
The Red Bulls are certain to be tested greatly by Bayern’s host of international stars. The 2009/2010 tipp3 Bundesliga starts just one week afterwards.
Ticket sales for the exciting friendly match will start on 4 April – on the day of the next home match against Austria Vienna.
All true season ticket (Abocard) holders for next season will be rewarded with a free ticket for the Red Bull Salzburg v Bayern Munich tie – that’s right, all those to buy a season ticket for 2009/2010 will see the friendly match free of charge.
New season tickets can be bought from 4 April 2009.
