Pitak to remain a Red Bull! Hodn? úsp?ch? s býkama, Karel!
Karel Pitak extends his Red Bull Salzburg contract for two years.
Karel Pitak today penned a contract extension that commits him to Red Bull Salzburg until the summer of 2011.
The 29-year-old Czech international has been at the Red Bulls since a 2006 switch from Slavia Prague, helping the club to the 2007 Austrian Championship. That was Pitak's second major title after winning the 2002 Czech Cup with Slavia Prague.
Pitak has played a total of 1,155 minutes for the league leaders this season, despite suffering a few injuries. He has been in good form with three goals and three assists.
Pitak had some clear ambitions in mind when signing his new deal: "Winning the championship, qualifying for the Champions League and getting back into the Czech national team."
